Just installed this Fire Table @ the Icicle Brewing Company. Subsequent to these shots, the linear burner kit has been installed. Steel welded by Bob Stutesman of Stutesman Welding inc. In Leavenworth, WA. Design, wood and install by, my self. It will be a cozy wintertime addition to the patio.
I just finished this side chair: A post-modern Shaker Ladder Back. Reclaimed Fir, Seagrass Rushing and 1/2 x 1/2 hot rolled steel painted black. I’ll be posting this into my store soon to be able to take orders. (Thanks Mr. Gokhale, for supervision on this project)
Finished a new side table: Will be posting it in my Store soon. Materials are reclaimed 2×10 fir roof joists (from my garage) and 1/2×1/2 hot rolled steel: left natural sealed with clear coat.

| In October, the Phinney Center Gallery will show the work of the winners of our annual Northwest Fine Arts Competition. Jurors Gary Faigin, Sarah Dillon and Jayme Yahr selected Blocks _31 by Todd Smith as the winning work in the competition. This artist will receive a juror’s prize and a six week solo show in the gallery. The artists John Armstrong, Susan Aurand, John Bolivar, Matt Calcavecchia, Tina Carter, Karen Hackenberg, Aron Hart, Tyler Kimball, Paula Maratea Fuld, Michael Medrano, Nia Michaels, Joseph Pentheroudakis, Todd Smith, Tamara Stephas, Jan Viney and Suze Woolf will be featured in this gallery show.Opening Reception Come see the work and meet the artists at the opening reception on Friday, October 14 from 7-9 pm. |

Come check out my new series @ the Phinney Neighborhood Center September 9th 7-9 for an artist’s reception. I will be showing a series of photos titled “BINS” along with a great local photographer, Stan Raucher. It’s an honor and a privilege to be next to his work. The work will be displayed the entire month of September.
“Fruit bin lots, most notably Apple and Pear, are the unintentional architecture of the region from where I was born. The storage lots containing thousands of bins awaiting fall harvest are a city in and of themselves. My intent of capturing these images isn’t to suggest any political stance, branding exercise, nor commentary on anything regarding the fruit industry. They truly are studies in architectural photography, of shadows and light, densities and graphic representation; of a place vivid from my growing up East of the Mountains. “

This is another new house design that Syndicate Smith is currently working on, in Leavenworth, WA. The Owners wanted to make this a structure that went up quick. There other requirements revolve around it being as energy efficient as possible with regards to mechanical and passive input. See link for more explanation.

The Icicle Brewing Company in Leavenworth, Wa has just won a grand honor of best brewer at the recent Rails to Ales Brew Festival. Congrats. I’m happy to hear the product coming out of the building I had the honor to work on is doing well.

This is a new house design that Syndicate Smith is currently working on. The clients have a strong resonance towards clean, efficient, modern European design. Coupled with the strong four seasons in Leavenworth, this house design will be a fitting, but unique addition to the valley.
