Environmental Statement

As a country, as a globe, and as a species we have a long way towards realizing what sustainability and environmental stewardship truly mean.  Sustainability and environmental stewardship do not exist if we aspire to build beyond and consume more than the globe can afford us versus what we can, in return, replenish.  It is everyone’s current duty to establish realistic aspirations with the rest of the globe in mind.  That said, in the built world and design worlds, choices regarding building efficiency, material sourcing, size, energy input and output and global/local impact should all be weighed and valued in the most holistic way possible.  For some, this is more important that others.   It is my goal as a designer of the built world to raise attention to the impacts of built decisions on the environment to those who I am serving and others who are impacted to the greatest extent possible.
